Everything at Once

Five days to Utah.

I’m a big fan of changing everything at once, so I’ve been thinking a lot about my freelance writing business and how I can capitalize on this big move in my life by making some big changes at work as well. For a long time now I’ve been sort of a jack-of-all-marketing-trades, helping an array of clients with their content marketing, from web site copy to social media advice to email newsletters to white papers to blog posts.

Along the way I’ve edited quite a few nonfiction books on subjects like technology, environmentalism, modern poetry, beer brewing, how to cook with leftovers, yoga, mindfulness, and San Francisco’s civic art. I love editing books. I love books.

As I get settled in my new home, far from the madding California crowd, I’m keen to spend more time editing books. That doesn’t mean that I’m going to stop writing web copy and blog posts for clients altogether—I’m still here if you’re looking for that kind of help. But I’m ready to tip the scales. More books, please.

Will you help me spread the word? If you’re curious to hear more about my book editing experience, check ‘er out.
