I Wrote a Cookbook!

December 31st, 2012

It was a little over a year ago that I was joking around about a new diet I had invented called The Small Bowl DietTM, wherein one eats only what one can fit in one’s tiny handmade bowl. I described it as an “artistic expression-meets-portion-control eating plan.”

Cut to a year later, and guess what I did? I wrote a cookbook. That’s right. I’d been meaning to get around to this for a long time, so, voila. (I love how I make it sound so easy and not like I’ve been up until past midnight many nights over the last few months cooking and taking pictures and writing and coding and obsessing like a crazy person over shades of red.)

Cooking For One cover

Cooking For One, Easy-cook Small Bowl Recipes is available by download only (no printed version, at this point, sorry luddites) for your e-reader (Kindle or iPad with Kindle app—very easy to download if you have an iPad, and if you email me I’ll tell you how). Personally, I do all of my recipe-browsing on my iPad these days, so I’m a big fan of the electronic cookbook. And for me, as the writer, creating an electronic cookbook meant I could take all my own photos and put this thing together rather easily. Viva la internet!

Will you download it? Pretty please?

And give me your pure unadulterated feedback, either below, in the comments on Amazon or by emailing me directly? My next cookbook—which I have already started—is going to be all maple syrup recipes! So I’d love any feedback on the way the material in Cooking For One is presented.
